Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel in the city center.

The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax after your flight, enjoy a stroll around the nearby streets, or discover the vibrant atmosphere of Vietnam's capital city at your own pace

Day 2: Ha Nọi Citi Tour Full Day (Group Tour) (B - L)
8:00 amWe will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House. In the morning, we will visit

Tran Quoc Pagoda located on an east side isle of the West Lake (Tay Ho district), It is considered as the most ancient pagoda in Thang Long - Ha Noi with its historical progression in 1500 years. It has a harmonious combination between the majesty, hoariness architecture and peaceful landscape of the West Lake. From the period in the Ly and Tran dynasties, it had become the Buddhist center of Thang Long

Visit the complex of president Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (Mausoleum and Stilt house) - Where the great leader lived and worked until the last years of his life. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about Uncle Ho's simple life. In addition, you will stop by One Pillar Pagoda to admire one of the 4 symbols of Hanoi.

Note

with departure days on Monday and Friday, Mausoleum Management Board will carry out maintenance of the mausoleum, you will visit only outside of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

This is the most recent yet probably the largest and undoubtedly the most interesting Museums in Hanoi and Vietnam. There are both indoors and outdoors sections, while the in - housed exhibition is particularly informative, the outdoors display and activities make the museum stand out from the rest. There are a number of houses modeling after the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those who live in Northern and Central highlands

On Monday, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is closed, instead of the Vietnamese Women Museum.

Noon

Return to the Old Quarter to have lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, you will see 36 streets from the car and listen to the guide tell stories about the streets of the ancient urban marketplace.

Afternoon: We will visit The temple of literature (The first university in Vietnam)

Being an ancient school of Thang Long and the first university in Vietnam, Temple of Literature is acknowledged as an ancient historical-cultural heritage which gives tourists a deeper understanding about Hanoi's years of culture and tradition.

Hoa Lo prison

Built in 1899. The French held mainly political prisoners here, along with those awaiting sentencing at the nearby Court of Justice, as well as American pilots who had been shot down and captured as prisoners of war. The pilots sarcastically called it the "Hanoi Hilton. John McCain was held here at various times during his five and a half years as a POW.

4:00 pm

End of Hanoi City Tour, the car will take you back to the hotel or depending on the needs of visitors, the car can take you to Ham Ca Map area to be free to visit and experience (all costs is not included) at one of the locations below, then return to your hotel at your own expense

Free go for a walk to visit Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as Hoan Kiem Lake, and learn about the architecture of Vietnam and France around the lake area. Visit Ngoc Son Temple to worship Saints Van Xuong and Tran Hung Dao - famous generals in Vietnamese and world history and Huc Bridge

Rent a bicycle or tram to explore the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Buy tickets for the water puppet show.

Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha (B, L, D)

A welcome drink is served upon check-in while the Cruise Manager provides a safety briefing and an introduction to the cruise itinerary. Enjoy a delicious lunch while admiring the majestic views of Lan Ha Bay — a quieter and less touristy extension of Halong Bay. Along the way, pass by famous landmarks such as Turtle Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone islands.

3:30 pmKayaking & Swimming at Tra Bau

The cruise takes you to Tra Bau area for kayaking and swimming. This beautiful location was one of the filming sites for the movie Kong: Skull Island in Quang Ninh.

5:00 pmSunset Party & Happy Hour

Return to Aurora Cruise for a sunset party. Join Happy Hour (Buy 2, Get 1 Free) while enjoying the breathtaking sunset over Lan Ha Bay on the sundeck

6:00 pmCooking Class

Join a cooking class with our chef and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, then enjoy your handmade creations.

7:15 pmSpecial Candlelit Dinner

Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on board Aurora Cruise, featuring gourmet Vietnamese cuisine prepared by our 5-star chefs.

Day 4: Lan Ha Bay - Ha Long Bay - Ninh Binh (B, L)

Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck while enjoying the peaceful beauty of the bay. For sunrise lovers, you may wake up between 5:30 and 6:00 AM, with assistance from the crew.

Enjoy a light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries as the cruise continues its journey through the bay

8:00 amExplore Dark & Light Cave

Visit the famous Dark and Light Cave by bamboo boat and admire the stunning natural beauty of this peaceful area.

Return to Aurora Cruise, complete the check-out procedures, and return your room key to the reception

Enjoy brunch while the cruise heads back to the harbor. Relax on the sundeck and take in the final views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A transfer boat will take you back to Tuan Chau Harbor Waiting Lounge. Then driver will pick you up for the journey to Ninh Binh – Dinner on your own and Overnight in Ninh Binh (4 & half hours of driving approximately).

Day 5: Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (B, L, D)
7:00 am

We pick you up at your hotel in Old Quarter departure for Ninh Binh, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way.

10:30 am

Car picks you from the hotel and goes to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Vietnam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple, in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of these two Kings in Chinese Wars.

12:30 am

Have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you will get on a bamboo boat - rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long river to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way. You pass through three enormous caves that provide a brief respite from the intense summer sun. It takes approximately two hours to go up and down the river and along the way, you witness local fisherfolk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations that Tam Coc is famous for.

Have dinner. Free at night. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 6: Ninh Binh -Bai Dinh - Trang An - Ha Noi (B, L)

The car picks you from the hotel transfer to Bai Dinh pagoda. Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda - the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. You will visit Bai Dinh pagoda

Have lunch in local restaurant with some local special dishes such as goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel before we visit Trang An.

1:30 pm

Depart to visit Trang An Eco-Tourism attraction, there is beautiful scenery landscape, you will boarding a small boat to visit Trang An, you will see majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields. Take a boat trip to visit cave complexes: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wilderness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh.

Arrival in Hanoi – Overnight in Ha Noi

Day 7: Ha Noi - Sapa - Catcat - Village

You will be transferred from your hotel in the Hanoi to the bus office for taking sleeper bus to Sapa. The bus arrives in Sapa bus station at approximately 12:30 where your Sapa Pathfinder Travel guide/driver will welcome you. Look for the "Sapa Pathfinder Travel" sign and your name on your arrival. Then take a short drive to hotel. Upon arrival in Sapa you will be taken to your hotel for a rest & lunch, Early check in may be possible if your room is available, then we will help you prepare for the trek as detailed below

2:30 pm

Start walking down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village where the Black H’mong reside. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the remnants of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time. Enjoy the traditional dance by local people and surrounding scenery, then continue to Sin Chai, which is located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, also known as “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here we take in the beautiful picturesque view before returning to Sapa by car/van.

Day 8. Fansipan - Monana
7:45 amPick-up

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Sapa town and transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin your exciting journey to conquer Fansipan Mountain – the Roof of Indochina at 3,143m above sea level.

8:30 amFansipan Cable Car Experience

Enjoy one of the world’s most impressive cable car rides with spectacular panoramic views over Hoang Lien National Park, Muong Hoa Valley, and the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The cable car journey takes around 20 minutes to reach the upper station.

After arriving at the station, you will continue your adventure by climbing approximately 600 stone steps to reach the summit of Fansipan Peak. Along the way, you can visit beautiful spiritual and cultural sites including pagodas, giant Buddha statues, and peaceful mountain temples hidden among the clouds.

For guests who prefer a more comfortable option, you can also purchase a one-way funicular ticket directly at the station to reduce the walking distance to the summit. (optional)

9:30 am

Reach the top of Fansipan Peak and enjoy breathtaking views over the mountains of Northern Vietnam. Take memorable photos at the summit marker, then walk down to the station.

11:30 am

Take the cable car back down the mountain and transfer to a local restaurant in Sapa town for lunch. Enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes at the restaurant.

2:30 pmContinue to visit Lao Chai – Ta van

Transfer to the the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley, on the way you can stop for photos and view down to the Valley.

3:00 pm

tart walking downhill to Lao Chai Village, home of the Black H’mong ethnic people. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of terraced rice fields, traditional wooden houses, and peaceful mountain landscapes. Your local guide will introduce you to the daily life, culture, and traditions of the ethnic minority communities living in the valley.

Continue trekking to Ta Van Village, where the Giay ethnic people live. Walk through small village paths, cross streams, and admire the peaceful scenery surrounded by rice terraces and mountains. Ta Van Village is well known for its beautiful landscapes and traditional local culture, making it one of the most popular trekking routes in Sapa
